Terms of Use

Last updated: October 1, 2026

Plain-language terms for Moodoodle. Please read them with your family.

1. About these terms

These terms are between you and Moodoodle (“we”), and cover the Moodoodle apps and this website. By using Moodoodle you agree to them. If you got Moodoodle from the App Store, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where it conflicts with these terms, Apple’s terms win for that app. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.

2. Parents and guardians

Moodoodle is made for children ages 3–10+ using it with a parent or guardian’s permission. The parent or guardian accepts these terms, is responsible for purchases and settings, and decides how their child uses the app. Grown-up features — purchases, settings, sharing, printing and deleting — sit behind a grown-up check.

3. Using Moodoodle

We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Moodoodle on devices you own or control, for your family’s personal, non-commercial use. Please don’t copy, resell, reverse engineer or misuse the apps or service.

4. Purchases

  • Purchases are made through the App Store or Google Play, and are charged, renewed, cancelled and refunded under Apple’s or Google’s terms. Refund requests go to Apple or Google.
  • Prices are shown in the app before you buy; the store shows the price in your currency. Current US prices: Moodoodle Library $8.99 one time; Moo Studio $4.99/month or $49.99/year.
  • Use Restore purchases in the grown-ups area to get your purchases back on a new device signed in to the same store account.

5. The Moodoodle Library

The Moodoodle Library is a one time purchase. It unlocks every picture in the Library, including pictures we add later, for as long as we offer Moodoodle, and includes 1 Moo creation each calendar month. It isn’t a subscription.

6. Moo Studio

Moo Studio is an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly. It lets your child create up to 3 new Moo pictures each calendar day. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in your App Store or Google Play account settings. If you cancel, it keeps working until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Pictures already made stay in My Art after a subscription ends. Moo Studio doesn’t include the Library.

7. Creation limits

Create with Moo has limits: 1 free creation per device to try; 1 each calendar month with the Library; up to 3 each calendar day with Moo Studio. Only pictures that are successfully delivered count. We may also apply a fair-use limit to protect the service. Unused creations don’t carry over.

8. Acceptable use

Moodoodle is for kid-friendly coloring. Please don’t try to make it produce harmful, hateful, violent, sexual or otherwise inappropriate content, use other people’s personal information, or get around its safeguards or limits. Moo may decline an idea and suggest another; a declined idea never uses up a creation.

9. Generated pictures

Moo’s pictures are made automatically by an image model from your child’s idea. They pass through safeguards designed for young kids, but automated systems aren’t perfect: a picture may occasionally be wrong, odd or not what was asked for. If anything ever seems inappropriate, please tell us. Your family may use pictures made in Moodoodle for personal, non-commercial purposes — color them, print them, share them with friends and family.

10. Availability and changes

Create with Moo needs the internet and our drawing service, which may sometimes be busy or unavailable. We keep improving Moodoodle and may change, add or remove features. If we ever stop offering Moodoodle, pictures already saved on your device remain there.

11. Intellectual property

Moodoodle, Moo, the apps, the Library pictures and this website are owned by Moodoodle and protected by law. Except for the personal use above, please don’t copy or redistribute them.

12. Ending use

You can stop using Moodoodle at any time by deleting the app (and cancelling any subscription in your store account). We may suspend access to the drawing service if it’s misused.

13. Disclaimers

Moodoodle is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we don’t promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every generated picture will meet your expectations.

14. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Moodoodle in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be limited.

15. Governing law

Nothing in these terms affects the consumer protections you have under the laws where you live.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we’ll let you know in the app.

17. Contact

Send us a note and we’ll get back to you.
